EEO Public File Reports for Zone Corporation(WZON-AM, WKIT-FM, WZLO-FM)

WZON-AM, Retro Radio

The Zone Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The Zone Corporation recruitment policy involves a broad outreach to our community. All open positions within the Zone Corporation are placed using multiple media including print, radio, and internet listings. Local community resources are used including the local papers, local college recruitment offices and unemployment offices. In order to reach organizations within certain minorities the Zone Corporation runs PSAs asking for any organizations that would like to receive our postings to please call and be added to our mailing list. Also all listings are aired on all three stations that fall under the Zone Corporation umbrella. We also participate in supplemental initiatives that provide outreach in our community including management training, community job fairs, high school and college career days, summer media camps and station tours for community organizations, a mentoring/intern program.

The Zone Corporation, licensee of WKIT-FM, is taking part in an audit of EEO participation and responsibilities per FCC Rules in accordance with 47 CFR 73.2080(f)(4). The station employment unit included in this station is participating, having been randomly selected as part of a group of approximately 200 stations, nationwide.
